Natural dyeing may not be an exact "science" with intense variability seen even with the same procedures followed, however general trends in color may be observed.

This ongoing project is a swatchbook of fabrics dyed with different natural dyes, handpicked or purchased, varying parameters such as fiber type, mordant, after mordant, overdyes, and dyeing time.  It is a library to reference what steps can lead to desired colors.
